The Board of Trustees of the College of Certified Psychophysiologists has voted to award Dr. Joseph Bannon with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Applied Psychophysiology Honoris Causa, which will be presented to him on August 16th 2025 at 1pm PST.
Special Agent Joseph Bannon is a retired government agent and intelligence officer with the Criminal Intelligence Bureau-Anti Terrorist Unit of the Department of Justice/Office of the Attorney General. He is a former Federal Agent assigned to the DEA as a narcotics agent, and U.S. Marshals Service on "America's Most Wanted" Fugitive Apprehension Team out of Los Angeles. As a task force agent counterpart, he was assigned to the United States Secret Service Close Quarter Presidential Protection Detail, presidential Protective Intelligence Division, the FBI Witness Protection Program, the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and U.S. Naval Intelligence.
Dr. Bannon has a Ph.D. in Theocentric Clinical Psychology from Saint Mark Romano Byzantine Seminary & College.
